בתקופה מורכבת וקשה שאנו חווים יש גם קרן אור. מרכז משמעו”ת אירח בחודש דצמבר מפגש מיוחד ומרגש בו השתתפו שורדי/ות שואה, נוער מתיכונים במוצקין ומחלקת הנוער של העיר וחיילי פיקוד העורף יחד עם להקה פולנית של בני משפחה מקרקוב ששרים בעברית.

הלהקה שמורכבת מבני משפחת צ’ובק מהעיר קרקוב בפולין ועמותת פולוניה בחרה להביע סולידריות במדינת ישראל בתקופה קשה זו בישראל, עת העולם הנוצרי חוגג ונמצא בחופשת חג המולד, הם בחרו להזדהות עם הכאב של האבדן ותפילה למען שחרור החטופים ושלום החיילים/ות והגיעו לישראל להתנדב בקטיף עגבניות, ולהופיע בפני קהל ישראלי ולשיר בעברית. אף עין לא נותרה יבשה למשמע המוסיקה והשירה היפה של משפחת צ’ובק שמקיימים קשר הדוק מזה מספר שנים עם מרכז משמעו”ת.

את המפגש הנחתה מנהלת מרכז משמעו”ת ד”ר לאה גנור. ראש העיר חיים צורי בירך את הלהקה והודה להם על הסולידריות והיחס החם לישראל. המפגש התקיים הודות לשיתוף פעולה עם יו”ר עמותת ניצולי מחנות הריכוז והגטאות בישראל גיתה קויפמן; איציק פיטרמן שסייע לתרומת הגברה; חיים ליבוביץ מהקונסרבטוריון של קריית מוצקין; אסתי שקד האמנית, שהעניקה לעשרת הפולנים תשורה ציונית מלאכת ידה “העין הטובה” שמטרתה להעביר מסר של אהבה ושלום ואהבת ישראל לעולם כולו. גם רשת BBB קריון בהובלת יניב רונן תרמו ארוחה נפלאה לאורחים הפולנים ויחד עם צוות משמעו”ת הנדיר והנפלא היה לשורדי/ות השואה בוקר של אור.

האווירה היתה מחשמלת, מלאה באנרגיות חיוביות ותפילה לשלום החיילים/ות, וחזרתם הביתה של החטופים במהרה.

In a difficult times that we are experiencing there is also a hope and light. The Mashmaut Center hosted a special and exciting event in which Holocaust survivors, youth from high schools in Motzkin and the city’s youth department and soldiers of IDF participated together with a Polish band from Krakow singing together in Hebrew.

The band, which consists of members of the Chubak family from the city of Krakow in Poland, and the Polonia Association, chose to express solidarity with the State of Israel during this difficult times in Israel, when the Christian world celebrates and is on Christmas vacation, they chose to show solidarity with the pain of the loss and pray for the release of the abductees and the peace of the soldiers and came to Israel to volunteer and perform in front of an Israeli audience and sing in Hebrew. Not a single eye remained dry to the music and the beautiful singing of the Chubak family, who have maintained a close relationship with the Mashmaut center for several years.

The event was lead by the director of Mashmaut Center, Dr. Leah Ganor. Mayor Haim Tzuri congratulated the band and thanked them for their solidarity and warm attitude towards Israel. The event took place thanks to the cooperation with the chairman of the Association of Survivors of the Concentration Camps and Ghettos in Israel Gita Koiffman; Itzik Piterman who helped to donate the amplification equipment; Haim Leibovitz from the conservatory of Kiryat Motzkin; the artist Esti Shaked, who gave the band members a Zionist gift of her handiwork “The Good Eye” which aims to convey a message of Love and peace and love of Israel to the whole world. The BBB led by Yaniv Ronen also donated a wonderful meal to the Polish guests and together with the wonderful Mashmaut team, the Holocaust survivors had a morning of light.

The atmosphere was full of positive energies and prayers for the peace of the soldiers, and the return home of the abductees soon.
