During the first days of fighting, the Mashmaut Center initiated unique activities with the IDF to strengthen the national spirit through seminars and workshops dealing with the meaning of Holocaust remembrance and heroism and meetings with Holocaust survivors.

During the seminars, the soldiers went through lectures and educational workshops on the subject of remembrance and leadership during the Holocaust, and a memorial ceremony was held for the victims of the massacre on October 7 and a prayer for the return of the abducted and the peace of the wounded. During the ceremony, the soldiers were invited to hang yellow ribbons out of solidarity for the return of the abductees and the strengthening of the fighters.

Seminars like this contribute to morale, spirit and pride. The meeting with Holocaust survivors contributes to understanding and strengthening the protection of the homeland and the understanding that we protect our home.
