From Rebirth to the Sky in schools

The Seminar day “From Rebirth to the Sky ” tells the story of the survival and success of children who survived the Holocaust and who were members of the air crew and the founders of the Israeli Air Force. This is an inspiring story of determination and bravery that symbolizes the story of the Jewish people.
The Mashmaut Center sees great importance in passing on the story of the Holocaust survivors and aircrew members to the younger generation and holds seminars days for junior high school students.
During the seminar, the students get to know the story of Holocaust survivors who were children during World War 2, survived the war, came to Israel, rehabilitated and became pilots and aircrew members in the early years of the state.
The program is based on true stories while creating discussion and discourse that breaks stereotypes and gives students a different perspective on Holocaust survivors while understanding the complexity of the time.
Through a study workshop and group work, the students are exposed to the stories of the pilots Arie Oz and Giura Bar Nir, who are a story of inspiration for the students.
