Dr. Leah Ganor opened the meetings by talking about the activities of the Mashmaut Center and the importance of the testimonies of the survivors and presented to the English group her research “From rebirth to the Heaven” which tells the story of aircrew members who survived the Holocaust as children and became pilots and navigators in the Israeli Air Force at the beginning of the state.

The actor Gil Danino presented in a one-man show the moving story of the Holocaust survivor Mishka Zilberstein, who survived in the woods with wolves.

Workshops were held in Hebrew, English and Russian. the day ended with the personal testimonies of Miriam Harel, Gita Koiffman and Shlomit Ben Ari who survived the Holocaust as young girls.
