The target audience: 6th grade and up, according to the age group
The study of the Holocaust, a defining chapter in Israeli history, continues to accompany Israeli society, even many years after World War II ended. On this study day, the students will learn basic ideas about the Holocaust as well as ways of surviving through personal stories of children who lived during the Holocaust.
The workshops emphasize the contribution of Holocaust survivors to the establishment and development of the State of Israel and the importance of remembrance and commemoration. Our study day also highlights the bridges between the Holocaust and the rebirth of the state of Israel. The study day combines diverse didactic methods and media.
Our goals
Instilling Holocaust awareness and Strengthening the relationship
between the Holocaust generation and the young generation.
Studying personal stories of survivors and their life stories before, during, and after the war.
Emphasizing the importance of the Holocaust and its continuity for future generations.
