Israeli Experience

The target audience: 3rd grade and up, according to the age group

The State of Israel was founded in 1948 after decades of Zionist activity. Pioneering was among the central values of Zionism—initiative, courage, diligence, and faith led pioneers to do the unbelievable and found a modern and advanced state in a small desert country in only a few decades.
During the study day “Israeli Experience,” the students learn through a few remarkable examples of how the value of pioneering brought Israel, as a young country and society, to impressive achievements made by intellectuals, scientists, sports, and cultural figures.
Through the great achievements – Nobel prizes, scientific achievements, Olympic medals, and unique inventions – we wish to inspire the students to take part in our story and in the “Israeli experience” that encourages innovation and creativity for the sake of the Jewish people and humanity.
The goals:
1. Studying the background to the rebirth of the State of Israel.
2. Understanding the term concept “pioneering” and its meaning.
3. Exposure to Israeli achievements and inventions that influenced the world.
4. Encouraging initiative, innovation and sense of pride and belonging to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
