A Flower for survivor: event with Holocaust survivors and the Navy base in Haifa

An exciting event at the Mashmaut Center: the awarding of certificates of appreciation to Holocaust survivors by soldiers from the Haifa Navy base. The meeting between the generations was powerful and significant.

The meeting, which has become a tradition, moved the younger and older generation alike. At this meeting, the soldiers presented certificates of appreciation to the survivors and listened to their stories during the Holocaust.

The oldest Holocaust survivor in the city, Ms. Bracha Manor, 105 years old, gave a speech and thanked the Mashmaut team and all those involved in the work, as well as all the survivors.
The meeting was held in the presence of the mayor, Mr. Tziki Avisar, the representative of the Ministry of Education, Betty Danon, the director of mashmaut center, Dr. Leah Ganor, and the center’s staff, who worked hard to organize this meeting.
