A delegation of “Yeshiva University” graduates from New York (US) came to visit the Mashmaut Center and participated in a seminar where they got to know the Center and its workers, the staff and the daily activities, heard a lecture by Dr. Lea Ganor, the center’s director, and met the Holocaust survivor from France Shlomit Ben Ari.

An introductory meeting of the mayors of the twin cities of Kiryat Motzkin was held together with the mayor of Motzkin, Mr. Tsiki Avisar and director of the Mashmaut Center and lead, Dr. Lea Ganor.

At the end of April, the director of the Mashmaut Center went to visit the partners and friends in Poland and strengthen the ties of friendship while in the background the war in israel and the increase of anti-Israeli demonstrations, and participated in a rally in support of the State of Israel in Warsaw.

April 25-30, 2024

The yellow flower became the symbol of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (April 19, 1943). In an educational-social initiative of the Poland Museum, which was established a decade ago, yellow paper flower are worn around Warsaw and the world on the anniversary of the outbreak of the uprising. This year, the Mashmaut Center team also takes part in the memorial project.

In hard times of war in israel, the director of Mashmaut Center, Dr. Leah Ganor, went to a series of meetings in Poland in the framework of planning joint initiatives and activities to continue the educational and value-based work of mashmaut Center throughout Poland, explanations about Israel and raising awareness of the release of the abductees, and participation in a ceremony for the reopening of The renewd Synagogue in Chęciny.

The Mashmaut Center went to Poland on a delegation for a study seminar at the invitation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv under the management of Magdalena Kostel. As part of the seminar, meetings were held with officials in the fields of culture, education and sports, and a project was promoted for cooperation between the Mashmaut Center and the Education Center in the city of Khmelnik in memory of the late Holocaust survivor Mordechai Goldstein, born in Khmailnik, who lived in Kiryat Motzkin and was active in the Mashmaut Center. The delegations were headed by the director of the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv and the director of Mashmaut, Dr. Lea Ganor.

September 2023

The visit of a special delegation from Germany, of teachers and high-tech people. The members of the delegation went through a seminar that presented the work of the center, talked with the director of the center Dr. Lea Ganor and met Holocaust survivor Saadia Bahat. This visit is part of a series of visits by delegations from Germany that have come to the Mashmaut center over the years.
