The municipal ceremony marking Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025 was held at the city's theater hall in the presence of the Consul of Bulgaria in Israel, the Consul of Poland in Israel, the Bulgarian military attaché in Israel, and hundreds of community members, school students, and Holocaust survivors.

Dr. Lea Ganor, Director of the Mashmaut Center, hosted the ceremony, and the Mayor of Kiryat Motzkin, Mr. Tziki Avisar, delivered a speech. This year, six torch-lighters were chosen to light six torches in memory of the six million who perished in the Holocaust: Tzvi Arbes (Poland), Meir Ada (Tunisia), Marcel Lupu (Romania), Nitza Kaplan (Poland), Tova Pedanes (Poland), and Tzvi Natan (Bulgaria).

Before the torch-lighting, six testimony films featuring the torch-lighters were screened. Afterwards, the torch-lighters were escorted to the stage by Israeli Navy soldiers from the Haifa base. Following the torch-lighting, the artistic part of the ceremony took place, including readings by local youth, a performance by actor Gil Danino, and a song performed by singer Tali Ketzef accompanied by musicians. The ceremony concluded with the singing of Hatikvah.
