In preparation for Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel, the Director of Mashmaut Center, Dr. Lea Ganor, and the Polish Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Maciej Hunia, visited the only Polish Righteous Among the Nations living in the State of Israel. 

Jarosława Lewicka, the only Righteous Among the Nations who was recognized several years ago for her activity to save Jews as a child.

Jarosława made sure to bring medicine and food to Jews in the ghetto, along with her grandfather who was also recognized as a Righteous Among the Nations. A small woman with immense power and inspiration who did not have a family of her own, but thanks to her activity, about 30 Jews were saved and started families and had many descendants.
